Orchid Butterfly is run by Coo and Oszey. Coo is local from the Mhong HillTribe and has been managing the resort known as Trekker Lodge for the last seventeen years as a trekking centre.
Though in recent years Coo has come to learn the teachings of the Buddha and taken to studying and practicing Dharma.
This reflects in that Coo has changed the style of the resort to one of peace and meditation where one can come and enhance their spiritual wellbeing. |

Oszey is From the UK and has been involved in creating Orchid Butterfly to its present form for the last three years . As with Coo he has a firm belief in the Buddha’s teachings and the benefits we can gain from them, to the extent he ordained as a monk for five months this year with the Dhammakaya foundation in Bangkok.
His experience of being a monk was a great turning point in his life that he is now working with the Dhammakaya foundation to create meditation centres in Thailand specifically for westerners.
They both believe that meditation and related practices can create a better world to live in and make us much more content and happy in our daily live and want to share this with the people that come to stay at Orchid Butterfly.
Orchid Butterfly has a none religious view all faiths are welcome.

To teach meditation as a way to World peace. To use traditional healing methods to create wellbeing in our mind, body and spirit.
